The Middle East branch of one of the worlds biggest cruising business, Royal Caribbean will shortly be launching their new website.
Designed and developed by WVSS, the website incorporates the latest technology to ensure maximum compatibility across all web and tablet devices as well as Social Media integration and full sharing capability as well as a host of dynamic features allowing internal management of the website.

Each week, WVSS designs and transmits the Dubai Night Planner weekly email marketing campaign using Apollo Mailer.

A dedicated premium rate (4 digit) SMS Shortcode was setup for the client with 100 specific keywords - a keyword for each of the 100 cars entering the competition at the Adrenalin Sports Live and Barbican Turbo event in Abu Dhabi in 2010.
Visitors at the show were allowed to choose their favorite car out of the 100 on display by sending a SMS (and car number) to the SMS Shortcode. Each vote was registered and graphically shown on large LCD screen where graphs of the top 10 cars at any time were shown in real-time.
Real-time voting added a level of excitement to the event as users could see the impact their voting was making. All messages that were sent in were then sent back a confirmation message along with a promotional message from one of the sponsors.
In just 3 days, the system registered over 10,000 votes.

Another subsidiary of Web Planner, digitALL provides multitude of interactive options throughout all types of marketing. A consultancy that strives to be ahead of the competition, providing unique and innovative engagement strategies utilising mobile, social media, bluetooth and a host of other products and services that will help any business separate itself from its competitors.
WVSS were tasked to design a modern, striking website that integrated blogs, case studies and core information easily without repeat and unnecessary clicks.

In associaton with Hotel Dynamics, WVSS have created a number of websites for the loyalty programmes of well known international hotel brands.
One such client is Marriott Exclusive in Moscow, Russia for whom WVSS built a microsite for their group of 3 Marriott properties in the Russian capital.
In both Russian and English languages, the website also offers dynamic reservation links and a content management system that allows the hotels to update their content onsite.

WVSS partnered with one of the regions leading design agencies to produce this wonderful website. White is the leading resource for all things related to weddings in the region and our content management system ensures that the White team can manage their site internally, without expensive administrative costs.

A integrated Facebook application was built to create a viral buzz around the opening of the At.Mosphere Restaurant and Bar, the worlds highest restaurant, located on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa, the worlds tallest building. The Facebook application was built incorporating an interactive competition that allowed users to select a Golden Ticket from a selection of 122 tickets for a chance to win a complimentary dinner at the restaurant.
Once the first Golden Ticket was selected, users were then provided the chance to pick a second ticket by sharing the competition details on their Facebook wall, so that the competition become visible to the friends of those who entered. Collecting data of the entrants using the Facebook Graph API allowed all data to be available in real-time to the client, who could then monitor the response and entries with regularity.
Within just four weeks, the Facebook fan page had over 8,000 fans, 4,000 registered users with full opt-in email data. The competition was shared by over 65% of users.

A household name all over the world, Babyliss is a provider of electrical goods within the health and beauty sector.
WVSS were selected as the web development partners for the brand. The website to be launched Q2 of 2011 features e-commerce capabilities allowing Middle Eastern customers with the opportunity to make purchases online.
The website also contains a dynamic content management system allowing the business to make content amendments in house.

DIFC Courts approached WVSS to redesign and rebuild their website. The new website streamlines the entire web management process that previously included a number of different management systems into a single, usable platform managed internally by the DIFC Courts team.

A global business, Legrand are specialist providers of wiring devices, switches, cable management and power distribution services.
WVSS were selected by Legrand as their regional web development partner. The website adheres in full with the global brand standards provided by Legrand, and also contains a comprehensive content and product management system allowing the business to make in house modifications to the business as and when required.

In 2009, WVSS developed Apollo Mailer - a email marketing solution that allowed businesses to communicate with their opt-in customer databases. Shortly after its launch, the system was successfully implemented by Movenpick Hotels and Resorts as the exclusive system of choice for their Middle Eastern properties.
With full English and Arabic compatibility, Apollo Mailer allowed each hotel to send personalised emails in either language, that were fully brand compliant and professionally delivered directly into customer email inboxes. Each hotel has complete access to send emails in-house also reducing the need to share confidential databases with 3rd party suppliers.
A number of customised features have also been added specifically for the hotel brand ensuring that Movenpick continue to implement both best practise and legal guidelines in every single email transmitted.

Dubai Party Queen, a start-up event management, pr and marketing consultancy approached WVSS to help create and build their website.
The website content required WVSS to build a flexible web platform for the business that allowed unlimited pages to be created as and when required as well as a fully trackable advertising server that allowed DPQ to place 3rd party adverts on the website to generate additional revenue.

WVSS were selected as the web development partner for the Renaissance Hotel (Doha) for their exciting West End project. West End houses numerous restaurants and bars, each with its own identity and theme.


Tips and Toes Spa from Haywards Heath, England partnered with WVSS to develop a website for the new business.

WVSS have created a customizable Facebook Application based on Competitions that can be implemented onto any existing Facebook Business Page. Marketed correctly, the application provides a tried and tested mechanism to (a) drive new fans to your business. (b) build actual databases of your Facebook fans and (c) virally market your business to an extended network of your existing fans.
The example on the left is for Le Meridien Hotel in Dubai. At the time of implementation, the hotel had 140 fans. Within 2 weeks, this had increased to over 400 without any additional marketing spend.

One of the oldest hotels in Dubai, The Carlton Tower Hotel approached WVSS to redesign and develop their existing website in order to integrate a new booking engine and drive direct bookings via the hotel website.
The business also required a flexile platform that would allow them to easily add new hotels to the website as they joined the group. The solution provided by WVSS allowed any new hotel to be added onto the site within a matter of hours via the custom-built content management system that is designed for scalability and cost-efficiency.
The booking engine was also integrated and within hours of launch, the first direct booking was made from the website.

In 2009, WVSS partnered with 7DAYS, a daily newspaper distributed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, to provide SMS interactivity between 7DAYS and its readers.
As a result, 7DAYS allows its readers to send premium SMS messages in response to news articles, puzzle clues, competitions and the ever-popular letters page, where readers can send their views and opinions on hot topics in their city.
To follow best practise, every SMS that is received is automatically sent a reply message thanking the reader for their contribution or competition entry. To offset the cost of the technology, 7DAYS and WVSS also allow selected 3rd party advertisers to sponsor the reply messages sent back to the readers allowing a guaranteed 100% delivery rate and readability of content.

WVSS and its subsidiary, digitALL worked alongside Visit Britain to build a viral competition that would utilize platforms such as Social Media and email marketing. The objective was to increase awareness about historical tourist locations all over the UK. A Facebook adapted flash game was created and implemented into a Facebook Fan Page, the game was also available online for those users who did not have a profile on Facebook.
As the objective of the game was to educate users about the location of specific tourist destinations in Britain, WVSS and digitALL felt this would be achieved best by dragging the names of the locations and dropping these on a UK map. Once the user had completed the game, their time would then be placed on a leader board and then be prompted to invite their friends to challenge them and beat their score through social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
All entrants would enter their details as part of the competition.

Prior to the launch of the hotel in 2010, WVSS were selected as the online and web partner for JAL Tower Hotel Dubai.
This involved the creation of a web strategy, development of the website, regular website audits, search engine optimisation, social media strategy development and integration, video creation and production.
The partnership element ensured that WVSS provided a hands on approach to the tasks and also attended weekly strategy meetings to ensure that the goals of the hotel from an internal perspective were aligned with the hotels digital marketing strategy.
